So you want to know a little about me. . .well now, let me see. . . I love mashed potatoes (and you should hire me). Not garlic mashed potatoes - I mean they're fine - but metaphorically, I am much more honest and straight forward. Simple. Real mashed potatoes, maybe a little butter - some salt. Done. You want to sell a particular item on the menu? Pair it with a side of mashed potatoes and that's what I'll choose, every time (perhaps you should consider hiring me).

I am originally from Detroit Michigan (and I love cannolis from Tringali's -please hire me). I grew up in Detroit when it as a city was struggling to survive the automotive industry crash of the late 70's early 80's (please hire me). I am a third generation American, and all my extended family lived and still live in the Detroit area (and they would appreciate it if you would hire me). I am from a multi-ethnic family - my father's parents were both Italian. My mother's mother was from Germany, and my mother's father was Lebanese. I am pretty normal, but add a sprinkling of mafia, a small dose of terrorist, and a little pinch of teutonic and it can get a wee bit scary in here. In here being my mind. Certainly is it not a calm one, but… this isn't a therapy session. No, on the contrary, I am supposed to be convincing you that I am so interesting that you must see me immediately with an offer of work. Please hire me. Matt Damon needs a leading lady? Yes I am free. I am highly educated and am a bit on the short side so he'll look like the tall strapping beast we all fantasize him to be. Leonardo Di Caprio needs a co-star? DiCaprio - De Sarla? Hello! We are practically related (I am begging you to hire me).

I am a dramatic actress primarily. I know what you're saying. Yes, I agree - yes. Most people say that. I should do comedy. Yes, I know, I know, and I am working on that. Check out my reel if I haven't scared you away already. (And if you haven't figured it out, this is the point that you should click on "contact" and call me with an inquiry, an interview, a meeting, an audition, or better, an offer of employment. Please, please, please call me...)

By the by, I am also a classically trained musician. Flute is my instrument. I have more training (and a few degrees) than is...well, healthy really. But if you're interested in my music career, I'll keep you posted on that as well.

Oh yeah, one more thing. . . I have begun to make my own films, a fledgling filmmaker. My first short film that I wrote and produced (and star in of course) is called "The Silence After" and will be making it's way around the festival circuit.  I am in preproduction on a film that I am co-producing and acting in called Katie Q. It will star Tanna Frederick, Karen Black, and Paul Sand among others.
